By creating an account or using whiz.pub ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service description
whiz.pub is a blogging platform that lets you publish markdown content via the web dashboard, CLI, REST API, or MCP. We host and serve your published content on your subdomain (yourname.whiz.pub) or an optional custom domain.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and verify it before publishing. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hello@whiz.pub if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use whiz.pub to:
- Distribute spam, malware, phishing, or deceptive content.
- Publish content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
- Host hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence.
- Publish illegal content or content that facilitates illegal activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Abuse the API with excessive automated requests intended to degrade service quality.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
4. Content ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create and publish on whiz.pub. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You can export your content in multiple formats and permanently delete your data at any time from your account settings.
5. License to operate
By publishing content on whiz.pub, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, cache, serve, and display your content as necessary to operate the Service. This license exists solely to deliver the Service and terminates when you delete your content or account.
6. Service availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
7. Changes to the Service
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. For material changes that affect your use of the Service, we will provide reasonable notice via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. In cases of serious violations (e.g., distributing malware, illegal content), termination may occur without prior warning.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, whiz.pub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account.
